Kent L. Kern, ChFC

Kent has worked as a financial consultant since 2001, after serving for twelve years as a Lutheran elementary school principal and teacher.  Education continues to be a very important part of Kent's life.  He has received a Wharton Certificate in Retirement Planning as part of AXA's  "At Retirement" program.  Kent earned his ChFC designation in 2006.  He holds a BA from Concordia University and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Saginaw Valley State University. 

Kent specializes in retirement planning for individuals, which includes accumulation and distribution planning.  He also works with congregations and schools concerning endowments and charitable planning.

Kent is a member of Northpointe Planning Group, a team of financial professionals with complimentary areas of expertise to address all areas of financial planning for individuals and businesses.  Kent and his wife, Heidi, are members of St. Lorenz Lutheran Church in Frankenmuth.  Their two children, Alex and Brady, attend St. Lorenz Lutheran School.
